Which is assuming everyone we deal with is being honest. As humans, we tend to default to the truth. I am going to highlight three of the different stories Gladwell worked through to challenge the thinking of readers and identity there is much room for misinterpretation and miscommunication among strangers. This book identifies that even the most trained, educated, and well-groomed individuals still misinterpret situations that they should know how to handle, which is all surrounded by why talking to strangers is so difficult. Throughout this book, Gladwell introduces several circumstances that involve high-risk or serious topics involving strangers. I chose to read Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell. A large portion of leadership is understanding how humans and interactions between humans’ work.
